Afternoon Tea at the Castle

A's birthday was way back in May, but there's a reason why I finally blogged about her birthday card. I bought a voucher from Dealfind for an afternoon tea for two people at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. To surprise A, I made her a cute tea party themed card.

Tools and Supplies used:
♥ White card stock paper
♥ Light brown with small polka dots (Holiday Collection stack) by DCWV
♥ Blue stock paper with polka dot embossing
White glitter stock paper
♥ Pink tea cup and tea pot embellishment
♥ Hot pink ribbon from Daiso
♥ Scalloped edge border by Stampin' Up! (here)
♥ 1/2" Round Corner squeeze punch by Fiskars

A and I finally had our high tea date last week. Both of us had a great time! The afternoon was just wonderful: memorable conversations and delicious food. With my creamy Fairmount Earl Grey tea, we had pastries, petit sandwiches, and house-made scones.
