I have a lot of scrap papers from previous craft projects and I like to keep them thinking that I will use the excess paper in the future. Although I use scrap papers once in a while, I just can't throw away or recycle good paper. Does anyone else feel that way? :P This kinda remind me of my "I Like to Collect Stuff" post.
Using scrap papers to make presents |
Click on "Read More" to learn a simple way on how to make presents out of scrap papers
**Note: Not recommended to give this as an actual and only "present" to anyone ;)
You will need:
♥ Scrap paper (This will be the present. I like to use printed paper for the design.)
♥ Sccissors
♥ Ribbon
♥ Glue
Step 1: Cut out the present. It can be any shape and size...anything you want, so be creative :)
Step 2: Tie a ribbon to make a bow.
Step 3: Glue the bow onto the present and wait for the glue to dry.
Step 4: Admire your present ;)
That's it! It's very easy to make. I like making them because you can customize the presents according to your craft project. You can pick your own colours and shape to match whatever you are making. Plus, you can finally use those scrap papers that have been hiding in the corner waiting to be used.
I used one of the presents for this card (see picture below). KY asked me to make a birthday card for a friend and requested to have pink birthday card plus a doggie. I kinda went wild with the pink theme..as you can see from the picture :P It's so cute!

Anyway, my scrap papers are not really organized...they're just in a box. How do you organize your scrap papers? :)
