Got Craft? Holiday Show & a trip to Michaels

This morning I went to the Got Craft? Holiday Show with A and Missy. We went in the Spring Show back in May, so we made sure we get there by 8am because we want to be the first 45 people to receive the swag bag. Unfortunately we were not early enough :( Apparently the line up started at 6am! :( Maybe next time...

Yeah, 6am is pretty early to line up for a craft show that opens at 10am, but the swag bag is really awesome! Each vendors were to provide a small sample of their handmade product so that the lucky 45 people can walk away with a bag of tangible goodies! To show you that we're not crazy...take a look:

Even though we waited in the cold for two hours, we didn't leave empty handed. We got a free tote bag, Missy bought a pretty ring, A got a super cute, gnome ornament, and I left the craft show with lots of inspirations ;)

After the craft show, we had lunch. Then went to Michaels. The store extended the Madness Sale Event, so everything was 15% off, including sale items! (there was also a 40% off coupon from this week's flyer). I controlled myself and only bought TWO things! :)

My first purchase was the Stampendous Perfectly Clear Stamps. The one I bought is called Pattern Trio and it has three pretty floral patterns. I'm thinking of using it as a background for my cards. Like this one:

And the second purchase was the ek success edger punch. I bought the Dotted Scallop Edger Punch. It's sooo cute and it looks really to use.
